Connor Marcinek
President
Class of 2018
Connor rowed with Clemson Crew from 2014-2018, where he served as both vice-president and president of the team. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science & Management, and currently works as a Project Engineer with Clark Construction Group in Washington, D.C. He lives in Alexandria, VA.

Rusty was born and raised in South Carolina. He rowed with Clemson Crew from 2014 to 2018 and served as president of the team his junior year. He currently lives in Charlottesville, Virginia and is in the Medical Scientist Training Program at UVA
Jason Bernard
Treasurer
Class of 2017
Jason came to Clemson in 2012 after a 4-year stint in the Marine Corps, and promptly signed up for Clemson Crew. A few years later he got conned into coaching the novice squad, and in 2016 took the reins of the men's team. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and in between riding in a launch and shouting at college kids, he keeps the books for Clemson's College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences.
Haley McKay

Haley rowed with Clemson Crew from 2015 to 2018 and graduated with a double major in Communication and Women's Leadership. She now works as a Lead Bartender at Dorchester Brewing Company in Boston, MA. Subscribe to the FCC mailing list to get fun emails from her every month...or so!
Phil Hughston

Phil Hughston rowed with Clemson Crew 1996-2000. He was President '98 and the Alumni Officer '99. Phil's love for the water continued after Clemson. While living in Dana Point, California he competed with the Dana Outrigger Canoe Club and coached their Men's and Women's Novice team to state championships as well as serving on their board of directors. He is now living in Charlotte NC.
Peter Tilton

Peter, aka Anchor, rowed with Clemson Crew from 2016-2019, serving as the secretary from 2017 to 2018. He once bested his coach on the erg, but true to his name, lost by an ocean of open water to his fat old coach in the master's 1x at Clemson Sprints. Chris "Toph"

”Chris “Toph” Mesigian is a Class of 98 graduate and 4-year member of CURA where he held board positions of fund raiser and vice president, and coached the novice women for one season. Toph continued his love for rowing after Clemson in his hometown of Philadelphia, competing for the Undine Barge Club of Boathouse Row, and as the head coach of the Radnor High School girls program for 7 years.

Grant was raised in Columbia, SC, where he began his rowing career in high school. He soon left the hell-ridden heat bowl of Columbia for the beautiful Upstate in 2014 when he started at Clemson. Rowing all 4 years of college, he only took one semester off for a study abroad trip. He graduated in 2018 with a degree in Marketing. In his spare time, he enjoys, hiking, camping, reading, and smooching his big dog Moose on the mouth.
